⭐ Scheduling best practices
If there is no existing dummy candidate in BambooHR, we advise to set one up with your personal email so you can experience what the candidate sees.
- On this candidate page please go to 'Email' -> 'Create new email' -> 'Schedule interview'.
- Login to Cronofy with your SSO.
- Create a new request and follow the steps to create the self-scheduling link.
- Send the email and open the link you created to see the candidate booking form.
💡 Once you select a time on the booking form, the interview will be scheduled and you will see this reflected in the right column in BambooHR on the candidate page.
Is the availability that is shared with a candidate real-time?
Yes. This will always be updated based on the calendar changes of the interviewer pool.
Only when you choose to override availability, or ignore availability, will we disregard any calendar updates.
How do I schedule with a pool of interviewers?
You'll need to first create a selection rule. After that you can add this rule as the host of the meeting and we will select one person, or multiple people, to attend the meeting.
Will everyone's timezone automatically be taken into account?
Yes, we will take availability based on the interviewer(s) timezone settings and share this with the candidate in their own timezone.
