How does Cronofy integrate into my HR suite?
Cronofy can be integrated in two ways. With Headless, your team builds its own interface on the API and keeps complete control of the UX. With Embedded, Cronofy's ready-made UI sits inside your product, which is the fastest way to launch. One integration can mix the two.
Can we integrate Cronofy in one module in our suite and extend to the others later?
Yes. Every capability runs on one infrastructure, Cronofy's Temporal Grid, so a suite can start in the hiring module and extend into onboarding, one-to-ones, appraisals and absence later. Reaching each new module is configuration on the same integration.
Can our customers' admins configure their own rules, templates and limits without coming to us?
Yes. Scheduling Controls gives your customers' admins a UI and API for their organization's rules, including pools, templates, limits, domain handling and escalation.
How do employees connect their calendars, and does every one have to authorize Cronofy individually?
Not necessarily. Individual Connect authorizes calendars one user at a time, while Enterprise Connect authorizes an entire client organization at once. Either way, you choose between full calendar sync and free/busy-only access.
Can Cronofy see a one-to-one arranged in calendars that our platform never created?
Yes, with full calendar sync. Calendar Connectivity syncs the calendar itself, so Cronofy sees a meeting whoever created it. Calendar Events then links the one-to-ones and appraisals already in people's calendars to your platform's own record, so the two stay in step as the meeting moves.
Does Cronofy sync absence and holiday data both ways?
Yes. Approved leave is written out to the calendar, and a change made in the user's own calendar is fed back so your platform's approval workflow can re-run.
What happens to our record when a meeting is moved or deleted in someone's own calendar?
Calendar Webhooks push changes to your platform in real time, so your platform can update its record the moment a meeting is moved or deleted.
Which calendars and conferencing providers does Cronofy support?
Cronofy supports Google, Microsoft 365, Apple and on-premise Exchange calendars, and Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams for conferencing. Meeting Transcripts returns the recording, transcript and summary, and supports more than 30 languages.
What can we build on top of the transcripts Cronofy provides?
Your team can build appraisal summaries, sentiment analysis and absence-review notes on top of them, alongside candidate scoring and skills matching in the hiring module. Cronofy supplies the raw transcript alongside the summary, and your own model does the reasoning.
Where is employee and calendar data stored, and is it secure?
Meeting data runs entirely on Cronofy's infrastructure, with no third-party subprocessors. Cronofy has six regional data centers, in the UK, US, Canada, Germany, Australia and Singapore. Calendar data isn't transferred outside the data center it's hosted in, and recordings and transcripts are stored in the one you choose. Transcription itself may be processed in another region of the same cloud provider. Cronofy is GDPR and HIPAA compliant, SOC 2 Type 2 attested, and certified to ISO 27001, 27701 and 27018.
