Why use Combined Availability?

As professionals we all have a network of contacts that we need to include in our meeting's - either within your organization or outside it. With Combined Availability you can factor in their availability each time you generate a
meeting request.

Your and your Connected Contacts’ event information is never made public. The meeting request links you create with the Scheduler are for single-time use only meaning you only ever commit to one event.

How it works

Using Combined Availability on your Scheduler is simple. Add your Contacts and include their availability in the meeting requests you send.

STEP 1

Add someone to your Connected Contacts by inviting them to share their availability using the button in the dashboard.

If your Contacts don't have a Scheduler account they'll be invited to create one (it's free) and we'll guide them through the simple set-up process

STEP 2

Customize the availability request with three options:
• Request that they allow you to share their availability with invitees
• Offer to share your availability with them
• Request two-way availability sharing

STEP 3

You can fix the length of time that you want the chosen availability connection to be shared for

STEP 4

Your Connected Contact will receive an email. Once they've accepted they will appear in your Scheduler Contacts list with their shared availability status.

STEP 5

They'll now appear in the drop down list when you're setting up a meeting request and then their availability can be included when you send the link to your invitee.

Share availability without
compromising on security

With the Scheduler you and your Connected Contacts only share free/busy information for the period of time that you set.

Choose from fixed periods - from a week up to a year. We make it easy to prolong the sharing if you wish but the decision should be made by you or your organization. It's important that your calendar events remain private and that you are in control of your availability and how long you share it for.
